The theatre space at Heritage Square Amusement Park was originally called Heritage Square Opera House when it opened in 1973 under the ownership of Bill Oakley. Its Children’s Theatre program began in 1990. Actor TJ Mullin took over the Opera House in June of 1988 and it was renamed, the Heritage Square Music Hall. Connie Helsley, President and TJ Mullin produced shows at Heritage Square Music Hall until the theatre closed in 2013.
